Getting to know one another in the class

It is very important for us to get to know one another in an online or a hybrid class since we spent much of our class time together in this online environment. Here is our first chance to get to know each other.

introductionThis is Dr. Jun Wang. I have been teaching online and hybrid Library and Information Studies courses at San Joaquin Delta College since 2004. This is the first semester that I am teaching the courses in Canvas, and I am eager to share with you the excitement of using this user-friendly and engaging online platform for this course.

Besides teaching the UC/CSU transferable library courses, I also serve as the Principal Librarian and Coordinator of Bibliographic Instruction and Information Literacy at Delta College.

My favorite radio station is NPR (National Public Radio), and most of the time I would listen to NPR's news and classical music stations when I am driving or doing house chores. Sometimes, I would listen to my musical CDs in the car as well.

I look forward to getting to know you know and working with you in empowering you with information literacy skills toward your college success.
